Sophitia Di'Falco Female 60 (25) Straight Harpy
Tiffany Hwang Played by Holler | Appearance Sophitia has quite a few scars from her childhood, most of this abuse is from her maids because they were jealous of her. They have scarred her back with belt abuse.
Sophitia's hair has been dyed many colours, she will make these dyes herself out of materials she finds and will colour her hair accordingly. The only person who knows her true hair colour is Sophitia herself.
At night, Sophitia's harpy feathers is brown-black and her face is severely disfigured. Her wingspan is rather long and her skin looks all dry.
Personality Sophitia is a kind and humble woman. If not a little classy, she is not afraid to show how sophisticated she is in Ephilion. And she won't give that style up any time soon due to her darker side of being a harpy.
On a good note, Sophitia doesn't mind helping others. Especially during the day and tends to keep herself to herself, only troubling others in a tactical manner.
Sophitia does have her issues however, she can be very stubborn towards others if she believes something shouldn't or should happen. And gets easily stressed due to the fact that her harpies are completely neutral so some hate each other while some don't. And while at night time she can get increasingly violent because she blames herself for everything.
History Sophitia was born into the human world in 1956. It was a very troubling time for her as nothing was going in the right direction for the Di’Falco family. To put it simply, they were broke. They couldn’t get enough money from their jobs and they were in major poverty. Because of this, Sophitia wasn’t able to get a proper education which is what she desperately needs, instead she was homeschooled and she hated it very much. She didn’t want to have all the money in the world, but she wanted enough so her and her parents could at least have some sort of stable lifestyle. So when her parents bought a lottery ticket one day, she was devastated. She believed that the money would be so much more use if it wasn’t wasted on matters like the lottery. Later that night however, her life completely changed, the lottery ticket that Sophitia’s parents owned made the family millionaires. The family won 64 million pounds in cash and the family was suddenly rich.
Sophitia was suddenly encased in the world of money and all things fancy, her parents even hired a few maids here and there to assist them and their daughter. Sophitia wasn’t sure how to exactly feel about the aspect of having maids by her side 24/7 to do her hair, assist her with her homework. She can do all them things herself, besides… she was getting beaten up by them and she didn’t exactly want that, she didn’t know why they were constantly beating her up as she knows she hasn’t done anything wrong to hurt them physically or mentally. She tried to tell her parents of the issues they caused towards her, but her parents heard none of it and speaking out got her into more beatings from the maids themselves, it was a pretty upsetting time. She already had stress and problems from school, homework and the occasional bully. Sophitia didn’t need more to add to the stress.
As last minute measures, Sophitia took precautions to stay over at friends and took plenty of after school clubs to keep herself away from the maids as much as possible while she still kept the demeanor of a considerate young lady with manners that belonged to the royalties of England. But it didn’t stop her from being cool, collected and it surely didn’t stop her from loving her friends and taking steps to help them whenever she can. This actually caught someone's attention during secondary school. A male to be exact, he seemed pretty shy and reluctant to speak to her at first but he soon had the courage to speak to her. He called himself Caspian and Sophitia fell for the male hard, Caspian always charmed the living daylights out of her and she always told him about his problems.
When her parents found out about her boyfriend she was instantly forbidden to see him and was told that her parents have already arranged for her to have a husband, Sophitia was horrified by this aspect and she couldn’t believe what she heard. She didn’t want to get married, she was only 16 and she was already being forced into marriage. She told Caspian of this issue and he comforted her, telling her that the two should run that night. Caspian always mentioned that he knew of this secret place that he wanted him and Sophitia to live in forever and ever. Sophitia agreed and decided to run away that night. Sophitia and Caspian first lived in a little house together, Sophitia didn’t understand why they were in a house as she doesn’t remember Caspian telling her that a house was part of the secret place but Caspian told her that it might be best until she finished college, just so she could have the proper education she needed. Sophitia understood.
Sophitia started to learn how to do everything properly without any help from maids, she learnt to cook proper meals without maids rabbiting at her, she learnt to do her own hair in the way she wants it and she attended college. She loved college that much that it has began to improve her confidence and her independence, she knew she didn’t need them maids or tons of money to have a prosperous life, she is living the ‘dream’ in her opinion. And she loves every minute of it. By the time she became 25 she had already left college and earned herself a proper job. That was when Caspian mentioned that it was time for her to go to the secret place with him, Sophitia was excited. She couldn’t wait to go to this area with Caspian and all thoughts started to spiral in her head.
Sophitia was taken to a forest that night and was asked by Caspian to close her eyes, to which she did willingly. She was flabbergasted by this ‘secret place’ that Caspian has taken her and it was so beautiful, there was lots of greenery and flowers and all things nice. Sophitia personally fell in love with what she saw, and it was that night where she lost Caspian… she couldn’t find him anywhere and Sophitia didn’t understand why he suddenly separated from her.
Where was Caspian?? What was happening?? She couldn’t answer them questions and another question soon filled her mind the moment it became night time in this ‘secret place.’ She became disfigured and she transformed into an ugly bird. She couldn’t believe what she was seeing and she had no way to get home without Caspian and she wanted to go home this instant but she cannot without her so called boyfriend. She hated him and she started to grow a hatred for everything that he has done for her, only for him to go and run away and left her to be nothing but an ugly-ass bird. Although it took some time, she finally found Caspian through the use of her flying ability during the night time and let rage consume her… she killed him that night, plucking everything that she could and clawed him with her bird feet until he was completely on the floor and lifeless. Sophitia had no other idea what to do… she needed him to get home.
Luckily for Sophitia, she heard from the others around her while she had to find out other ways to get home that there was others like her… Of course she didn’t tell the others who she actually was as she was too stubborn to tell them, she didn’t want aid, instead she wanted to find these people who were like her now. She accepted the fact that she cannot return home, not in the form she is in anyway. Instead she wanted to help her kind who were confused and who probably couldn’t grapple with the fate that they have sealed themselves in, literally.
It didn’t take long for her before she found out what she was due to what they were calling themselves, they called themselves the harpies… Sophitia didn’t want to be an animal of a greek legend but she has learnt to cope with it. She tried to help as many harpies as she possibly can but there have been a few… issues. Like most humans, they aren’t evil nor are they a goody two-shoes, they have their own reasons of rage and hatred. They are completely neutral to everything and only want what they feel is right. Because Sophitia seemed to understand this the most. She became the leader of the harpies, the harpies feeling that she has most of her humanity left to do so.
